This is because they lack or have limited access to a particular enzyme (Delta 6-desaturase) which is required to convert the precursor fatty acids Omega 3 and Omega 6 into important building blocks for your skin and mucous membranes. An enzyme deficiency can also arise during stressful periods, which may result in dryness issues and poor health.

The tiny seeds in blackcurrant berries contain special Omega fatty acids that allow the even those with an enzyme deficiency to absorb the nutrition, creating a balance in the skin’s lipid metabolism - which explains all the amazing results we’ve seen and heard about from our customers.
